Skills Lab

BryanLGH College of Health Sciences provides students with first-rate clinical experiences—both on the floors of our affiliated clinical sites and in simulated learning environments. There are five skills labs on our campus. Two skills labs are dedicated to Nursing courses, two are dedicated to Allied Health courses and one is dedicated to Human Patient Simulation. The Nursing skills labs double as Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry labs. The labs contain five mannequins with working body parts, three Human Patient simulators, ultra sound machines, beds equipped with physical assessment equipment at each bedside and other state-of-the-art equipment. The labs are available to students when there is not a scheduled class in session. Students utilize the equipment in the laboratories to learn, practice and validate patient care and assessment skills.
