Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and RN to BSN Completion Program

Students earning a Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing degree or who are enrolled in the RN to BSN Completion Program are required to complete 64 semester hours of courses outside of Nursing. Fifty-eight semester hours should include General Education courses in the areas of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities/Fine Arts, Mathematics/Economics and Health/Recreation/Physical education. The remaining six semester hours should include elective courses in fields outside of Nursing.

Associate of Science Degree in Adult Cardiac Sonography or the Associate of Science Degree in Vascular Sonography

Students earning an Associate’s degree in Adult Cardiac Sonography or Vascular Sonography are required to complete 27 hours of General Education courses, including Physics, Intermediate Algebra, Public Speaking, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Academic Writing, Medical Terminology, Cultural Studies and Ethics/Bioethics.

Associate of Science Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology

Students earning an Associate’s degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology are required to complete 31 hours of General Education courses, including Physics, Intermediate Algebra, Chemistry, Public Speaking, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Academic Writing, Medical Terminology, Cultural Studies and Ethics/Bioethics.

Associate of Science Degree in General Sonography

Students earning an Associate’s degree in General Sonography are required to complete 30 hours of General Education courses, including Physics, Intermediate Algebra, Public Speaking, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Academic Writing, Ethics, Cultural Studies, Pathophysiology and Medical Terminology.
