What are some of the advantages to completing my General Education courses at BryanLGH College of Health Sciences School of Nursing?

Students who complete their General Education courses at the College also develop valuable relationships with faculty and students that provide continuity, support and guidance throughout their course of study. Moreover, many of the General Education courses offered at BryanLGH College of Health Sciences are focused on issues that are of particular interest to healthcare professionals.


 

I’m concerned that General Education courses at the College will be too difficult or demanding. Should I be worried about my ability to succeed?

Students are expected to be committed to their coursework and to engage in the rigorous learning environment fostered at the College. But the College also provides one-on-one instruction and support to ensure that all students feel comfortable in this challenging environment. The College maintains a Student Success Center where current students can consult with faculty advisors about courses expectations and assignments. We expect students to work hard—but we also want you to succeed, and we will help you to reach your goals.


 

What are the qualifications of the General Education faculty members at the College? Are they as committed to students as Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing or Allied Health faculty members?

Our General Education faculty members have a breadth of teaching experience and training in their areas of expertise, and they hold outstanding academic credentials. Does the College accept General Education coursework completed at other degree-granting institutions?

Yes. Prospective and current students are invited to consult with the Registrar or Admissions to discuss courses accepted for credit and the procedure for transferring credits into the College.
