BryanLGH College of Health Sciences seeks students who are committed to outstanding healthcare professional education. We expect students to think about, communicate, process and implement what they learn. And we welcome students who want outstanding academic and clinical experiences—and have a little fun in the process. We are looking for someone just like you!


Admissions requirements to BryanLGH College of Health Sciences include the following:

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or the equivalent
  • ACT composite score of 20 or SAT composite score equivalent to the required ACT score. (College entrance examinations are waived for applicants who have earned their high school diploma three years or more prior to applying to the college.)
  • A grade point average of 2.75 or above in high school
  • The following high school courses are strongly recommended for traditional students:
    • 4 years English
    • 4 years foreign language
    • 3 years mathematics
    • 3 years social studies
    • 3 years of natural sciences
  • A minimum college grade point average of 2.0, if applicable
  • Application
  • Three personal references (instructors, counselors, supervisors)
  • Personal interview
  • Applicants for whom English is a learned language must score 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based or 79 internet based or better on the TOEFL English proficiency examination

Admission to the School of Health Professions, School of Nurse Anesthesia and the School of Nursing may include additional course prerequisites. Each School also specifies that General Education courses be completed as students make progress toward their degree.
